Veronica Metonidze

Attorney Veronika Metonidze is a Virginia licensed attorney. Veronica earned her J.D. from Tbilisi State University, Georgia, and her LLM from the American University Washington College of Law, USA. Therefore she is licensed to practice law in the United States and in Georgia. She also studied European Law at the Paris 1 Pantheon- Sorbonne University, France. Before joining National Capital Ms. Metonidze practiced civil and business law providing legal advice to local and foreign companies and international organizations in Georgia. She acquired international law experience while working for Baker & Botts LLP in Washington, D.C. Ms. Metonidze was involved in legal and judicial reforms in Georgia as a Managing Staff Attorney of ABA/CEELI. She also served for many years as a Legal Counsel and a Chief of Staff of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Georgian Parliament. Currently, she concentrates her practice on family law and civil litigation. Attorney Metonidze is fluent in Georgian, Russian and French.
