Domestic Violence

Domestic violence is not a rarity in the United States and frequently arises in international marriages where the parties didn’t have an opportunity for long term dating and learning about his or her partner. Domestic violence may consist of physical, sexual, psychological, or emotional abuse. Without intervention, domestic violence can become more destructive over time and can become deadly in the most extreme cases. Domestic violence includes:

  • Assault and battery
  • Burglary and criminal trespass
  • Child neglect
  • Disorderly conduct
  • Kidnapping
  • Physical child abuse
  • Psychological abuse
  • Sexual assault and rape
  • Sexual child abuse
  • Spousal physical violence
  • Spousal sexual violence
  • Unlawful imprisonment
  • Restraining order violations
  • Stalking and harassment

Domestic violence hurts everyone. If you or your children have been victims of domestic violence, our lawyers can help.
